There’s a common misconception that for AI to be helpful in care-based or regulated professions, it needs access to detailed client information. In reality, the opposite is often true. AI does not need access to PHI or PII to be genuinely useful — especially when its role is to support leadership, communication, and decision-making rather than clinical care.

1. Work With De-Identified Scenarios, Not Client Records
