The same applies to leadership decisions. AI can help structure thinking around tradeoffs, risks, and next steps without touching clinical data. It can assist with prioritization, reflection, and operational planning — areas that are critical to sustainable care management but not governed by HIPAA.
Used this way, AI becomes a thinking partner, not a clinical tool. It doesn’t diagnose. It doesn’t document care. It supports the human who carries the responsibility of judgment.
